Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
These terms explain the basis on which Save Some Green supplies products through this website.
We have tried to keep them readable and useful. By placing an order through the Save Some Green website, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits or replaces your statutory consumer rights.
1. About Save Some Green
This website is operated by:
Save Some Green Ltd
Company Number: 06604241
VAT Number: 294 4620 83
Registered or trading address: Save Some Green S7, Avonside Enterprise Park,
New Broughton Road, Melksham, Wiltshire,
SN12 8BT
Email: [email protected]
You can also contact us through our contact page.
These terms primarily apply to purchases made by consumers. Wholesale and business orders may be subject to separate terms or arrangements agreed with us.
2. Products and product information
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately, including their materials, size, quantity, colour and intended use.
Many of our products are made from natural materials such as bamboo, coconut fibre, sisal, loofah, wood and natural soap ingredients. Small differences in colour, grain, texture, shape or finish are normal and do not necessarily mean that the product is faulty.
Product photographs are intended to represent the item as accurately as reasonably possible. Screen settings, natural variations and changes to packaging may mean that the product you receive looks slightly different from an image on the website.
Please read the complete product description and any instructions, ingredients, dimensions, warnings or care information before ordering and using a product.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges are shown separately and are confirmed before you complete checkout. More information is available on our Packing, Postage and Delivery page.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are correct. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before accepting or dispatching the order. You may then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.
You will normally receive an automatic email acknowledging the order. This confirms that we have received it, but it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we confirm that the order has been accepted or when we dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
Please check your order details, delivery address and contact information carefully before submitting the order. Contact us as quickly as possible if you notice a mistake.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where, for example:
- the product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- the delivery address cannot reasonably be served;
- an obvious price or product-information error has occurred;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of the website; or
- the order breaches an applicable legal restriction.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the relevant amount.
5. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payment must be authorised before an order is dispatched. Payments are processed using the payment provider selected during checkout.
We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details where payment is handled securely by an external payment provider.
6. Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. Occasionally, stock information may be incorrect or an item may become unavailable after an order is placed.
If this happens, we will contact you and may offer to:
- wait for the item to become available;
- remove the unavailable item and refund it;
- cancel and refund the affected order; or
- provide an alternative, but only with your agreement.
We will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without your consent.
7. Delivery
Available delivery methods and charges are shown during checkout. Further information appears on our Packing, Postage and Delivery page.
We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Any delivery dates or timescales are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed date with you.
We are responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer, although we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve the problem.
If you ask for an order to be left in a particular place, with a neighbour or in accordance with other delivery instructions, responsibility may pass to you once the courier has followed those instructions.
We use reused and recycled packaging wherever reasonably possible. Your parcel may therefore arrive in a previously used box or other packaging bearing old labels, printing or branding. That is intentional and does not mean that your order is second-hand.
Please contact us if an order is substantially delayed, lost or arrives damaged.
8. Cancelling an order, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel an online order, return products and request a refund are explained fully in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations policy.
For most consumer purchases, you may tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods and then have a further 14 days to return them.
Some opened or unsealed hygiene-sensitive products cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
Nothing in these terms or our returns policy removes any rights provided by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their normal purpose.
Please contact us if a product is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or not the item you ordered.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may include a refund, repair or replacement.
We may ask for your order details, a description of the problem and, where useful, a photograph. This does not remove your statutory rights.
10. Repeat Boxes and recurring orders
Some products can be purchased as part of a Repeat Box or another recurring order.
The products, price, delivery frequency, billing interval and any applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete checkout.
By purchasing a recurring order, you authorise us and the selected payment provider to take future payments at the agreed interval until the recurring order is cancelled or otherwise ends.
Unless a minimum term or different arrangement is clearly shown before checkout, you may cancel future renewals through your account or by contacting us.
A cancellation must be made before the next renewal order has been processed. Cancelling after a renewal has already been processed will stop later renewals, but the current renewal may still be packed and dispatched. Any applicable cancellation or return rights will continue to apply.
You are responsible for keeping your payment information, delivery address and account details up to date.
You can normally review or amend your Repeat Box through the My Account section of the website. Changes should be made before the next renewal is processed.
If a recurring product becomes unavailable, we may pause or delay the affected order, contact you about an alternative, or refund the unavailable item. We will not knowingly replace it with a materially different product without your agreement.
If we need to make a material change to a recurring price, frequency or other important condition, we will provide reasonable notice and explain how you can cancel future renewals.
We may end a recurring arrangement where payment repeatedly fails, products are permanently unavailable, the service is withdrawn, or continuing the arrangement is no longer reasonably possible. We will not charge for products that we do not supply.
11. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes and promotions may be subject to additional conditions displayed when they are offered.
Unless stated otherwise:
- discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- only one code may be used per order;
- a code must be entered before the order is completed;
- codes may have an expiry date or minimum spend;
- some products may be excluded; and
- discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where it has been published in error, but this will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless the error was obvious and unreasonable to rely upon.
12. Customer accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for activity carried out using your account.
Please tell us promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed your account.
We may suspend or close an account where it is used fraudulently, unlawfully or in a way that could harm the website, our business or other customers.
13. Reviews and customer content
Where the website allows reviews, comments or other customer content, it must reflect a genuine experience and must not be unlawful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory or infringe another person’s rights.
We may moderate or remove content that breaches these requirements, is unrelated to the product or appears to be spam or fraudulent.
Submitting a review does not transfer ownership of your words or photographs to us, but you give us permission to display and use them in connection with Save Some Green and the relevant products.
14. Using this website
The website and its original text, photographs, graphics, branding and design are owned by or licensed to Save Some Green Ltd unless stated otherwise.
You may use the website for personal shopping and ordinary informational purposes. You must not copy, republish, scrape, exploit or commercially reuse substantial parts of the website without permission.
You must not attempt to damage the website, introduce malicious code, gain unauthorised access or interfere with its normal operation.
Links to third-party websites may be provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of independently operated third-party websites.
15. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
Products bought as a consumer are supplied for private use. We are not responsible for business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of business opportunity arising from a consumer purchase.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of your statutory consumer rights; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, postal or courier interruption, power or communications failures, industrial action, fire, flood or government restrictions.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and will contact you where an order is likely to be materially affected.
This does not remove any statutory rights you may have where goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required period.
17. Personal information
Information about how we collect and use personal data is provided in our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our website, products, services or legal obligations change.
The terms applying to a one-off order will normally be those published when the order was placed.
Material changes affecting an existing recurring agreement will be communicated reasonably in advance where required. We will not use a change to remove rights that have already arisen or to impose an unfair retrospective condition.
19. If part of these terms is unenforceable
If a court or other competent authority decides that part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived.
20. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
We would always prefer to resolve a problem directly. Please contact us first and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and help.
21. Contacting us
Questions about an order, product or these terms can be sent through our contact page or by email to [email protected].
