Plastic-Free Paper Tape for Parcels, Boxes and Packaging
Send your parcels on their merry way without wrapping them in strips of plastic. Our plastic-free paper tape is a strong, practical alternative to conventional parcel tape for sealing cardboard boxes, wrapping gifts and tackling the many mysterious packaging jobs that appear around the house.
It sticks securely, tears easily when required and can remain attached to cardboard packaging for recycling. Less plastic, less faffing and considerably fewer sticky strips clinging to your fingers.
Choose Your Paper Packing Tape Width
There are two widths available, both supplied on generous 50-metre rolls:
- 25mm × 50m: Ideal for smaller parcels, lighter boxes, envelopes, gift wrapping and general household jobs.
- 50mm × 50m: Better suited to larger shipping boxes, heavier packages and jobs where broader coverage gives a more secure seal.
The narrower paper parcel tape is handy when you want a neat strip without covering half the box. The wider option is the one to reach for when the parcel contains something bulky, awkward or suspiciously determined to escape.
Recyclable Paper Tape for Homes and Businesses
This recyclable paper tape works particularly well for small businesses, online sellers, market traders and enthusiastic parcel senders who want their packaging to remain as plastic-free as reasonably possible.
It is equally useful at home for storage boxes, moving house, Christmas presents and those occasional emergency repairs that probably deserve a proper solution but are receiving tape instead.
Practical Eco Packing Tape
- Plastic-free alternative to ordinary packing tape
- Available in practical 25mm and 50mm widths
- Supplied on a 50-metre roll
- Suitable for parcels, cardboard boxes and gift wrapping
- Can remain attached when cardboard packaging is recycled
- Strong enough for everyday packaging and postage
This eco packing tape is simple, useful and avoids adding an unnecessary layer of plastic to an otherwise recyclable cardboard parcel.
Save 10% When You Buy Three or More Rolls
Regularly sending orders or parcels? Buy three or more rolls and receive a 10% bulk-buy discount. It is a useful saving for small businesses and also prevents the traditional discovery that your last roll has run out precisely when the post office is about to close.
We use paper tape ourselves when packing Save Some Green orders. You can read more about how we prepare and send parcels on our Packing and Postage page.

Perfect for the next step to a zerowaste Christmas. Who needs cello tape?! Not us. You will be amazed at how many people are not sure if cello tape is plastic. Once they realise this is a no brainer. People really are making changes. It’s brilliant.
